THE 11 ARTISTS PROJECT
Each month SHhhh showcased one artist, commissioned them to design a short collection of artwork and T-Shirts which were printed, sold and exhibited in stores and galleries across the UK…
The aim of the 11 Artists project was to keep things fresh, fun and constantly evolving by working with emerging artists each with very different styles and approaches.

Decembers Artist
Adam Batchelor's work is about a breakdown between the real and the unreal, of society and culture. It is about the interaction between these different worlds and how they can be manipulated and influenced. It not only looks at the blurring between cultures from the 'developed' and 'developing' world but also looks into the impact of hyper-reality within modern culture and lifestyles. The work is also divided between detailed pencil work and the comic abstraction of cartoon imagery.

December 2012 | 11 Artists Exhibition & Pop Up Shop, Beach Gallery London
The 11 Artists project was created by SHhhh to enable emerging artists to gain exposure through clothing collections and a selection of exhibitions.
They selected 11 artists over 12 months and each month one of these artists created a collection of t-shirt designs.
These t-shirts alongside original artwork were displayed in a context that complimented the artist, whether it be a bar, a gallery, in stores or online.
To round off this exciting project, The SHhhh Collective held an exhibition and pop up shop at Beach Gallery, London, on the 22nd December. This exhibition brought together all of the 11 Artists.
The exhibition showcased a broad range of styles and products. From illustration and film to publications and painting.
